Level 1 Certificate in Health and Safety at Work - for other organisations
The Level 1 Certificate in Health and Safety at Work aims to formalise health and safety induction training in the form of a nationally-recognised qualification.
Accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Examinations Regulator (Ofqual) at Level 1 in the National Qualifications Framework.
Assessment is via a one-hour examination comprising 40 multiple-choice questions. The pass mark is 26 out of 40.
The pass rate for this qualification is currently 94%.
Employers may either arrange a public or in-company training course or apply to become a Registered Centre themselves with the BSC.
