The NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health is globally recognised by employers and taken by people working in all types of industries as well as national and local government organisations.
The NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health is accredited at Level 3 within the National Qualification Framework (NQF) by the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual) in England, the Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills (DCELLS) in Wales and the Council for Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) in Northern Ireland. The logos of these organisations will appear on the certificates awarded for the qualification.
The NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health is accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) as meeting the academic requirement for membership of the Institution at Technician Level (Tech IOSH). Holders of the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health Certificate may also apply for associate membership of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM).
